So... a year and a quarter ago, I bought a 1989 Volvo 740 GL Sedan.
I used it as a daily commuter through last august, when i went off to school and left my car behind.
During spring break (march 2007) i flew back, then brought my car back with me (700 mile drive).
I have since then gone back and forth twice (1400+ miles each time) and have now returned to Seattle for the 2nd time in as many weeks. So, I have put at least 4,200 miles on it in the last several months. With 2200 or so in the last 2 weeks. I topped 190k yesterday.
Car ran fine in the morning, but when I got into Seattle from Montana, the car idled really rough, with a whole car vibration.
recently I had the transmission mount replaced, and the car ran a lot smoother since then.
Its also slow to accelerate now.
Muffler was replaced when I bought the car (april 2006)
All fluids replaced (august 2006)
Transmission Mount/brakes (May 2007)
Oil change/fluid top-off (May 2007)
Other than that, I have no clue what has been done to the car.

run some techron fuel injector cleaner through the gas tank, The idle air motor sometimes gets cruded up and needs to be cleaned. Under intake manifold two hoses one electrical connection. This usually fixes things but if you have a stubborn case you can replace the orings and caps on the injectors this would usually show up as rough running on start up and smooths out as the engine warms up.
