940 turbo juddering when slowing down

i have this problem with my 940 1993 iv changed the brake discs and its still the same its not a violent judder more like a surge and ive noticed that the gear lever (auto) is moving back and forth in time to the judder any clues what it might be?

As you say you have changed the discs (rotors) I assume that this judder is whilst you are braking.

Do you feel the judder when slowing down without using the brakes?

no its only when braking i dont feel it through the steering or brake pedal but more through the whole car i was wondering if it could be a engine or gearbox mounting as the gear lever moves in time with the judder?

Check the engine and transmission mountings. Also check the propeller shaft centre bearing and mounting. This has caused problems on 940s by allowing the prop shaft to move up, down and sideways.
