a) no need to shout (capitals)
b) your car is telling you something important by illuminating that light... take it to a dealer or service shop and have the codes read

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Is that dificult to answer my question or U dont like to say "Sorry I dont Know". Ok thanks anyway , I though this site was in some way helpful so we dont need to go to a Dealer any time a light comes on.

I think bullrfe has a point despite his rudeness , no one has helped him and I think Matthews has a conflict of interest in triying to sell his convinient products. I dont know how to reset in a soft mode the check engine light. My point is, this user has been waiting for a response and now one, i mean now one ... has help him.dcshaw wrote:Damn dude, calm down... Look on the home page of this website, the maintenance tips, and the third item down is how to read codes, at the bottom of that article is a reset procedure for 1995 and earlier models. 1996, I believe is when they went to OBD II system which requires a code reader to access the codes. Also volvospeed.com has instructions on how to read and reset the prior to 1996 models. Look around on this site and volvospeed.com and there is a wealth of information to help you.
I really, really really want to tell you where to shove it but being a gentleman I will refrain from doing so.
