Installing a hood bug deflector on my 2004 S60 T5

Hello. My car has a dent on the hood (front-most part) and I am planning on covering it with a bug deflector. I need advise on this please if it's a good idea? And where to buy it or where to do the replacement? It might me expensive just to have the dent repaired. Thank you!
