thinking of buyin a used v60

I thought I would run this by this community and see if anyone has an opinion.

My 850 has seen better days so I've looking around at what's on the market these days. I have driven a couple of v70s, 2008 and 2010, and liked them quite a lot. But then I drove a v60. Whole different animal. So, here we get to what I'm asking for input about. I have seen a number of these v60s come up used with 10-12000 mi on them. The rub is they're used rental cars. Some of my questions are 1) why only 10,000 or so miles? Wouldn't a rental company keep a car longer than that? 2) I'm told by the seller that the full Volvo warranty is transferable, meaning another 40k mi with full bumper to bumper warranty. Could this be right? 3) Am I crazy to be considering buying a rental Volvo? 4) I would like to hear any general opinions about the v60.
