Oil and filter service:
Ryco Z89A - $15
Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 5+1L - $65
Wynns Engine Flush - $13
Notes:
Was well overdue due to lack of maintenance on behalf of MIL. Signs of moisture and sludge on oil dipstick but not under rocker cover or in oil itself. Assuming this is due to the car standing unused for a few months before being passed onto MIL then only being used intermittently for the past year. Hoping fresh oil might clear it but may need to poke the gunf out with a brush/pipe cleaner.
Almost pleasant to work on a car with an easily accessible oil filter, after a few years with Japanese vehicles. Bought an end-style oil filter rachet although a strap probably would have worked too.
Engine seems a little quieter since change. Will need to stock up on oil fill cap seals as the current one is weaping a bit.

Identified seat belt issue - deliberately wired out due to overactive inerti lock. Will attempt removal and clean soon, may need replacement.
15/10/2016 - 326,874km
Replace cigarette lighter fuse - 12V power back!
Rebulb dead interior lights.

Replaced coolant with ~6L of Nulon Long Life Type A - $20
Notes:
Coolant didn't look as bad in the drainpan as it did in the expansion tank, but was listed as needing replacement on the next service well over a year ago.
Aftermarket radiator fitted by previous owner doesn't have a drain tap, but a plastic slotted captive bolt that required a substantial flathead screw bit to remove without chewing up the slot. Weaver gunsmithing toolkit came in very handy!
Have noticed a bit of difference in indicated temperature between slower, city driving and when towing (3 o'clock on gauge) versus highway speeds (almost 4 o'clock). Suspect thermostat might be on way out...
