1992 240 dash lights flickering

Have a 1992 240,and my dash lights are going crazy on and off all the time.Mostly when i push down on accelerator any suggestions?

what do you mean by dash lights? The lights in the speedometer cluster or all the lights on the middle console too?

The oil light,battery light,parking brake and brake fail light.Under the speedometer.Started awhile ago would do it once in awhile now it doe's it all the time.Lights come on when i step on the accelerator,also seems to dim headlights when this happens!

Found wires under dash and checked wires in engine compartment,one must have been a bad connection and am sure it was one under dash!
