Hi id like to install a covert switch so the car wont start /turn over, easiest place to take a feed from is the steering column which wire would i need to link into to stop it turning over ?
Also i need a 12v feed when the ignition is off but turns off when the car is running ??

Do you know which alarm you have? The easiest way if you have the standard alarm is to use the immobilizer circuit which routes the starter wire through pins 50E and 50F on relay 210. The alarm relay is a double relay 210/211 in most cases.
Many of the European cars have one of the Guard Alarm variants and they may be different though.
I think in all cases the starter wire is the Green/Red wire so you could tap that as it comes off the column.
I don't know of an existing circuit that is battery when the car is off and off when the car is on, you may need to build that one up yourself with relays.

thanks for the reply's , ive put a switch on the green/red line to the starter, which security light are you talking about Beigg?
as i dont recall ever having seen one , unless its not working or has been disconnected .
