98 S70 with blown engine - $400 Wichita, KS Topic is solved

I'm new to the forum, thinking someone in the midwest might want a parts car. If I'd joined sooner it might still have a good engine!
I am the second owner, my great-uncle bought the car new.
The engine doesn't run - the mechanical timing belt tensioner failed recently. 2 cylinders now have zero compression, 1 has 60psi, and two have about 150psi. We are ready to let it go. It has been a great car, I had it for almost 10 years.

263,372 miles
5 cylinder 2.4 liter, dual overhead cam engine
It has four new tires 7K miles ago.
Alloy Wheels. Leather Seats. Moonroof.
Working automatic Transmission.
Receiver hitch.
Brake pads replaced recently.
1 front fender is damaged.

If you are thinking of parting it out, I'd take the front seat skins.

I'll keep that in mind. I would like to find a buyer who wants to part it out. I'd consider lowering the price for someone who is an enthusiast. I just hate to see it go for scrap.
