For Sale: 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo + Extras!

I am offering my 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo sedan up for sale. It has been a good car for me and I’ve learned a lot wrenching on it over the years. This car has life left in it, but unfortunately I don’t have the time to make things right. I’ll get to that part later, but in the sale I’m including all the extras I used to put the car together as well as styling for a true winter/summer ride.

I can pull the receipts for the work done if interested.

About the car:
- Very well cared for and adult driven
- Oil changed regularly at 2,500 to 3,000 miles with Valvoline High Mileage 10W30
- Body lines are straight
- Minimal rust on the body
- Minimal leaks
- Car is 100% stock; no engine modifications have been done
- 35% tint on the side and rear windows
- Outside color grey; Interior is grey
- All heated seats work

Rare, hard to find parts! All work very well.
- Factory rear heated seats
- Factory trailer hitch (the adapter to a standard 1 ¼ inch receiver I made will be included in the sale)
- Factory front fog lights, wiring, and interior switch

The Bad:
- The car developed a burnt valve in cylinder 3. Cylinder 5 is misfiring as well; my compression test didn’t see reason to suspect a burnt valve. I’m just calling this out for awareness.

- The engine still starts on its good cylinders (idles rough though). If interested in buying I would be willing to start it up for you.

- The car was involved in a fender bender at a parking lot. No frame damage! Front left fender was replaced with an OEM part, front clip, roof, rocker panels and spoiler were professionally painted.

The Good (these parts have less than 20k miles on them):
- Brakes: new rotors all around; all rotors are cross drilled and vented. Akebono brake pads all around, front brake flexi pipes have been replaced. Parking brake shoes have been replaced.

- Shocks: Bilstein struts up front with new springs, top hats and associated hardware. Rears have Bilstein shocks with IPD overload springs. IPD anniversary edition strut brace.

- New control arms up front

- New trailing arm bushings in the rear.

- Tires are in excellent shape; no signs of wear or dry rotting. I have the factory Columbas on now (winter time setup) wrapped in Bridgestone tires.

Engine
- Tune up including new Bougicord spark plug wires, new Bosch rotor, distributor cap, and Volvo OEM spark plugs
- New Bosch alternator and starter
- 628 R ECU. I have the factory one I will include in the sale as well.
- Transmission flush and fill procedure completed when I purchased the car at around 152k miles
- OEM Volvo battery
- K&N Air Filter
- New motor mounts all around

- New heater motor (replaced December 31st)

- HomeLink sun visor on the driver’s side

- Steering wheel from a T-5R installed

The Extras:
- 4 Pegasus 18” R rims – OEM, and have been refinished to OEM spec. Minimal curb rash damage. Tires won’t be included.

- 850 R style front bumper – needs restoration; dark green in color. My goal was to turn this car into a tribute R car for the 1995 850 T-5R.

- Set of door panels for all 4 doors

- Two NOS (new old stock) lower front seat heater pads

- Various screws and assorted items

- SC-815 stereo with factory speakers. Stereo included the radio code as well.

- Replacement headlight glass for both sides

- Replacement ABS/TRACS pump – pulled from a car at the pick ‘n pull yard

- New OEM coolant lines for the turbo and lower radiator hose

- New OEM intake pipe and PTC between the airbox and the turbo

- New Lamforder inner tie rod ends.

I love your car!! I can only hope that you will still have it for sale when I get my settlement check!!! I have dreamed of owning a TURBO model!! I currently have the 94 NA 850 and I can only imagine the power of a turbo charged engine!!

Quick update; I have decided to keep the car and get it back on the road again.
