Wrecked 2000 Volvo S70, Looking to Part Out

Wrecked my 2000 Volvo S70 a week or two ago, now looking to part it out. Front end damaged, rest of car is in good condition for the year. Leather on front seats is torn but otherwise okay, doors in good condition, wheels and rims as well. Ran great up until the wreck, engine and transmission were solid.

The shift knob, wood trim, and spoiler are all worth money. Tail lights as well. Post this on the Volvo parts classifieds section, or have a mod move it.

Not sure why you would "crush the rest" (from rspi). Plenty of stuff could sell here and on various forums if posted. That engine/trans may be salvageable, but considering where the impact appears to be, I'd suspect there could be some damage. Check the timing belt, because if that came off or slipped in the wreck, the engine is toast and probably not worth it to try and pull.

Wow! Worse than I thought. Crush it all.

All of the other parts are a dime a dozen. Not worth the hassle of pulling and shipping the stuff.

Put an ad (basically this post) in the classifieds, you can usually sell a lot of parts from an S70 like that. People need miscellaneous parts all the time, and the pick-n-pull isn't an option for everyone.

That's true, but people always need small or random parts here and there, like Erik said. Throw an ad on the classifieds here, on other forums, and Craigslist, and I'm sure you'll sell a few things. Then when you get tired of storing it and pulling stuff, THEN crush it.

If you are jobless, and every $5 counts, yes, try to part it out. If you have a real job, and picking apart a car for $10 here and $20 there, just not worth the hassle.
