Change of plans. The car will no longer be covered in black cow spots for a cross-country drive, but will instead make it's way up to San Francisco where it will be going to a friend of mine for use as his one and only car. I told him to change the timing belt, water pump, rollers, change the oil, and throw on a new set of tires. Hopefully that'll be all it needs for quite some time.

After a useless attempt with Mother's Back-to-Black, I sprayed the trim with PlastiKote black vinyl paint (which is apparently a dye that soaks in, and does not sit on top). Great results.

The car has already been up in the snowy mountains and down desert highways with the AC blasting. The only real issues have been a burnt headlight bulb and a droopy headliner.

Very nice. I like the cosmetic touches. ;)

I never trust the numbers on an 850 cluster.
