Oh, and a photo of said car. So pretty, and in the background is my beloved '89 300E. Yes, I love them both...does that make me a bi-vehicual?
What in the world is this?

What in the world is this?
This is a '99 C70 LPT convertible. I have 2 of these plug looking thingies just kind of hanging there on each side of the front end? I have no idea what they plug in to. They have 2 electrical wires wrapped in corrugated insulation. Everything up front works like normal as far as the fogs, headlamp wipers and washers, so any help on what they might be for and where I can plug them in to would be greatly apprec...

Kinda looks like the front axle of your benz is shoved backwards. It probably is the angle of the photo combined with the US headlights.
Back to your question: is that the outside temperature sensor? Looks like that to me

Nah, front wheels are turned slightly to the left. That car is still an awesome work of art! Outside temp sensor works fine. Always reads correct temp all the time.

Wow! Thanks for the prompt replies. I'll need to get in on the ramps and reinstall them. Hopefully the airguides are still in tact. Thanks again for all the help!
