How does replacement of oil and filter work?
Do we ship the old oil back to FCP for a reimbursement?
Does it have to be in the original containers?

So many questions.....I did read the FCP warranty FAQ's, these were not mentioned.

How does this work with Kits?
Do we have to send back the whole kit and get another kit?
Can we just replace a single part that was originally purchased in a kit?

Thanks

This is funny.

Brake pads: local Autozone has the same warranty, bring old pads in to get new pads.

Oil Filter: I have never heard about oil filters with LT warranty LOL.

If I could get a super high quality oil with a filter, plug, washer in a kit for just the cost of shipping after initial purchase, I would be a happy customer. I submitted a couple of questions on their website but I thought I post some here too. We will see who answers first.
In all honesty it seems silly to ship used oil but if I get replacement oil for cheap then why not?

You can afford another car?! I think you are confused about who the rich guy is here...... :D

My oil tends to get changed once a year, maybe twice if I'm lucky. If I could pony up the cash for really high quality stuff and then keep getting that same oil but for the cost of shipping, how is that not a great deal?

Someone needs to test this and see if FCP holds up their ends if the bargain.

Hi Zion,

As long as the oil is returned in the manufacturer containers, its covered. Same thing for filters, however we prefer if you place it into a zip lock bag or such to prevent the mess.

All we ask is that you ship the items back to us so that we can process the return.

As far as the kits, just send back whichever components wear out, and we'll cover it.

We want this to be as painless as possible.

So, I have to drain the oil, put it back in a contain, send it back to FCP, FCP will send me new oil, while my car will be down 2 weeks due to waiting for shipping?
