Drunk texting

I'm wondering what everyone's opinion of this is. How serious is it? How angry would you get if someone drunk texted your S.O. Late at night with random gibberish and then apologized later saying that they were just "drunk texting"?

Has anyone had any very bad experiences with either doing this or having it done to them or someone they know? Thanks for being open and honest.

P.S. I am stone cold sober asking this.

I suppose it depends on who the drunk person is.

If it's someone close, then yes, I'd be really angry. I'd tell them in clear precise language that is not to happen again.
If it's some stranger who texted a wrong number, I'd not do much about it, other than probably black list their phone number.

I had to fire someone who did this to female employees on weekends using personal phone. Legal even advised me I had no grounds to fire the employee - which is true. I fired him anyway.

Its kind of churlish, high school behaviour, isnt it??

I guess the response to "sorry, i was drunk' is "how did that happen?"

The decision tree is if this is someone who has to be in your life - if so, I would also be pissed. If not......
