1998 v70 2.4 turbo pistons
So sadly my engine has completely died thought i could get away with just valves but taking the head off revealed otherwise. If anyone could tell me what size or give me a link on where to order the pistons and rings that would be awesome.

If the pistons are torn up then chances are you will need to bore the cylinders. I think they make three different diameters of oversize pistons but you really need to have a machine shop take a look at it to see how much they would have to take to get the cylinder walls clean. I never have the cylinders bored without having the pistons on hand so that they can get the boring spot on correct.
If you are fretting about the valve relief cuts on the top of the pistons that is normal and the pistons are fine even though it looks like the valves have smashed the tops.
Both in terms of time and money your path of least resistance is to find a used engine if the pistons are damaged.

i already have half of a brand new motor basically brand new head and everything in it the block i am almost willing to toss away but i want to see if i can get a bit more done by ripping it apart and replacing them without having to scout around for the correct block. The cylinders have no gouges or scratches they look clean and smooth but will defiantley have a machine shop look at the block just to make sure.

I don't see any description of what's wrong with the engine. Just curious, what's the problem?
