The value in this is in its clean install. I wouldn't shell out for it at this price, but everyone's different, and there are plenty of guys who would (and, I'm assuming, are) pay this price for this super-clean way to display data.

Let's be honest: it doesn't get any cleaner than this. The only thing that beats this is telepathy of these metrics sent straight to your brain...

Mike, you did everything right. I tried to get it to work with the tag, but the video just said "An error occurred."

I'm going to soon press the button on a forum software extension that eliminates use of the tag entirely, so this problem will go away.

Matt... You nailed it... It puts everything right where you're already looking without additional clutter. My only concern on that respect would be it getting kicked regularly.

The only other puzzle/issue is does it overide errors and does it permanent alter the DIM? Their documentation is worse than a Chinese knockoff at this point. I hope that improves or it'll be hard to woo that elite crowd that price caters to!

I'm still curious and it's neat, but I need a better warm fuzzy before I'd go that route.

I've already been planning a double din radio install... Maybe I should just follow MCM and tablet it. Wouldn't be anywhere close to the most complicated auto electronics I've ever installed (used to do Comp stereos for a living).
