Help, I want to connect the wires from a trailer hitch wiring to my V70 tail lights. but I cannot figure out which wires are the:
left stop circuit wire
left and right turn wire
left tail light wire.
I understand they are coded, e.g. colors of each wire, but I need to know which one is which so I can tap into these wires.
thanks,
Marion

What year V70 would make a difference. Volvo makes a special set of wires that just plug in for this including a new relay(s). Not sure of the actual wires.

Howdy,
In the spare wheel well, there should be a multi plug. This is all you need. A test light or multimeter will quickly ID your cables. This is what I used for my trailer lights. No need to go into the panel on the left.
