Driver power seat stuck on one side

hello there

we have a 2009 XC60, and when trying to move the drivers power seat forward/backwards, it moves on the right side but not the left side.
I checked to see if anything was stuck/wedged in the slide rail, but it was empty.
I found the Volvo Vida software and found the picture of the seat assembly, and there is a long shaft going into the motor. Could it be a broken shaft or the motor itself that might be broken?
