Re: 1998 S70 replacing brake lines, need some advice!
So today i picked up the genuine end pipe and while I will miss the extra 30bhp my little gay tip provided , I'll hopefully be able to clamp this Volvo part on without too much stress

As it turned out, the exhaust was about to snap off at the silencer weld, so I ended up ripping the pipe off and making a fix with a pipe joiner to the backbox. That allowed me to paint the exhaust pipe with rust treatment/protection, while I ordered one of the rare excellent scantech parts (replacement exhaust hanger).

With the car on axle stands I took the opportunity to clean up the steel wheels. Hammerite direct to rust (satin black). You can be forgiven for thinking they were powder coated.

But as my Volvo likes to keep me on my toes, just as i'm ready to say "job well done" I spot a nice fat juicy nail in one of the rear tyres!

I'm trying to do all of the flex hoses on our 1996 850 wagon, the fronts were easy.
My plan for the rears is to disconnect the hard line at the Y union and the other end
at the passenger side caliper, remove the torx bolt and take all of it out to work on
loosening the joints.
Any further tips? Should this work?
