mp3 - batch processing for sound adjustments?
Does anybody know of a software which is able to process sound adjustments (like setting a high-pass) in a batch?

Thanks for the help, but this was not quite what I'm looking for...I'm using MP3Gain resp. its successor wxMP3Gain for years now, and it is a great help.
I'd like to apply a high-pass as a means to relieve the amps of my radio a little bit, since the speakers can't reproduce these ultralow frequencies anyway. My headunit does feature a 10-band graphic EQ but the lowest frequency to alter is 32 hZ, I want to take out anything below 20 hZ completely.

Close, but no cigar...like I said before, I want to delete the frequencies below 20 hZ completely from the file as my speakers can't reproduce and the internal amps do not need to amplify them. In the future, I'm going to add an Axton C610 XS amp as it is small enough to fit under the dashboard, does feature HP and LP filters, 5 channels to drive my setup and I still have it sitting in my garage.93Regina wrote: ↑26 Aug 2017, 22:23How to properly set an Equalizer in a car audio system

HP/LP filters on car amps are usually sloped because they are analog filters. 6 or 12db per octave usually. Likewise digital processors (like in audacity) may not be coded as an absolute cutoff either, but a very high Q/slope at 30db/octave or more. This can be done in digital processing more cleanly whereas in the analog realm hard shelf and notch filtering tends to introduce distortion/artifacts unless more complex/studio/professional grade circuitry is employed. Which you're not going to find inside a car amp/preamp unless it cost several thou$and or more.
What I'm getting at: if you're a purist/audiophile this would be better to do in the digital realm in audacity rather than on the amp, particularly if the amp is handling full range. The distortion/artifacts tend to be more noticeable as frequency increases (altered transparent 'realism' through the midrange, highs can become colored with detail/transient peaks becoming 'ringy' or monotone with all sorts of unwanted harmonic distortion.
Car audio gear, even the 'good' stuff, is chop full of potential problems. Much of it you can't do anything about: bridged amp circuitry to get high voltage/current out to speakers with only 12v in, for example. Use of analog filtering/processing after the HU is a big one that you can control.
