1. I wouldn't bother just yet, but yeah, you could do the plugs, wires and distributor cap.
2. I'd drag the brakes for about two 30 second stints while driving on a back road to see if it improves. Could just be some rust that needs to be knocked off or perhaps they were replaced right before you got the vehicle but haven't bedded in yet.
3. Happen to have a picture? Sounds like the pad may not be making great contact or you could have a warped rotor. Calipers may fix it, I suggest replacing rubber brake lines when doing calipers. $1200 later, I now do...
4. *shrugs* Someone that knows Volvo clutches better than I, Abscate?, should likely answer that one.
5. Try using the switch in the rear to open/close the car window while it is switched to on - unless the one found in the rear was from that side... I brought someone's window down one day while borrowing their vehicle for a parts run and couldn't get it up
(Hate it when that happens...) Turns out the front switch sometimes goes and the one on the rear door may still work provided the lockout on the front isn't engaged.

Cuttyhunk is cool! There are a few even sweeter anchorages a bit further up the islands tho! West end of Naushon (bay side of Robinsons Hole) is one of the most beautiful places anywhere...
So yeah car needs:
1. a simple tune up? - skips a fire every 15 min or so
2. e brake- holds fast from fwd rolling, not backward rolling though- makes big BANG if ya pull it while rolling at all fwd
3. Rear brakes? - stops fine but: right rear disc looks like it is not getting fully grabbed - makes spooky "ohm" noises from rear while driving or braking. Must have sat a while at some point in its life..perhaps with rear of car on grass??? As rear undercarriage looks pretty rusty while everything fwd of the rear wheels looks amazingly rustless. New calipers fix all the spooky brakey noise??
4. Clutch seems to work perfectly but makes a weird screachy noise while in middle of engaging in any mode north of "babying"...again, works fine just sounds pretty screwy
Oh yeah, and pass side rear pwr window is inop. Needs new guts me thinks. Mechanism was in rear of car when I bought it. Could use some tips on how to pull off interior door panel without wrecking anything as well as any tips on installing the pwr window mechanism![]()

We also wrap up course at the Kidd Friday night, which will probably be too late to drive home to NYC so I'll spend night either at Sands of Time, or look for a T4 with the pop topped at Nobaska point
Here is how an epi works...you shine light in, then look through a filter for the light that comes out, which is shifted to a redder colour

I'd probably start with cap/rotor/wires/plugs for that skip. Stick to Bosch for cap/rotor and Bougicord for wires.
E-brake cable is probably shot. You could try adjusting with the T50 adjustment screw on the handle or the shoe adjusters on the rear e-brake drums.
I would replace the rear rotors/pads and rebuild the rear rotors if they look iffy. Rebuilding the calipers is a pretty easy job if you're handy and have an air compressor There are a couple good writeups on this site about that. Otherwise, just throw some rebuilt calipers on there.
The door panel is easy to take off if you're careful. Remove the trim piece around the interior door handle, remove the little cap in the pull handle and remove the T25 screw, then go around the door and pop out the clips and hope you don't break any! Obviously once it's off, pull carefully and don't yank out any wires before disconnecting them.

Need any parts for the V70? I’ve been parting out cars all summer and have quite a stash.
If you ever need to do that clutch we’ve got the hoist and the engine brace for either engine up or engine down approach.
