About 2-3 weeks ago, my car died on me. all the lights went out, windows wouldnt roll or anything. i found out that my alternator ripped the belt and i killed the battery. so i replaced it with a brand new batter and put on the belt. seemed to be driving fine, although i had the stalling problems sometimes. usually whenever i stop for 5 minuts at a store, go back to the car, start it drive a few yards and the engine just shuts down. so while the car rolled i started it and we were back in business.
last night, i parked it, get back to it 5 minuts later and it wont start. i got all the lights/wiper/radio working. i keep hearing a clicking sound and i think i hear the feul pump sucking whenver i turn the key, but the car stil lwont start. i tried to use jumper cables to start it, but with not much success.
anyone has some ideas here? im a college studned and i'd like to diagnose/fix it myself.

tolik, did you clean battery terminals and could be as simlpe bad ground or a coroded fuse did this ever happen before you replaced the bat?tolik wrote:anyone? :\
Test wile engine is acting up. Is the car EFI or carb.?? Check all the fuses.
let us know as much as posible. It sounds like a heat related issue and may ned some brain storming. Hope this helps.
