1992 Sedan 240

My trunk keeps getting stuck/locked and for the life of me I cannot get it open.
Have no key for it. The lock itself is in nice shape, Idk why it should get stuck as it did. I hear this happens often to this model?
Any ideas, tips, or advice??

Also: the reason I was getting in there in the first place was to install a new tail light, so driving is no bueno as well, my right tail light is not working...so, no blinker, no brake light... Yikes.
