DSTC on/off

I have a v70 xc 2007
A DSTC light came on, I looked it up: Dynamic Stability Traction Control, but I can't figure out if it comes on by it self?
I just got the car and thought maybe I turned it on while playing with the buttons....and can I/ Or should I turn it off...and how?
It came on yesterday after it started raining, lol, coincidence?

Read the code at dealer/indie (they use Volvo-specific scanner and software). Most likely this is something related to ABS or brakes.

What do you mean by a "DSTC light came on". ?

Are you talking about a light in the instrument area or beneath the climate control unit on one of the buttons?
