I installed some auxiliary driving lights to my Volvo S60.
I used the following parts:
Volvo: Aux driving light kit 30772053, new centre console switch trim cover (30669774) and 3 blank switch covers (8691511)
PIAA RF3 Driving lights
2 x 3" right angle support brackets from Home depot, and some 1/2" long 1/4" stainless screws.
Remove front grill and figure out where you can easily place the bracket so it fits between the plastic bits and you can screw them to the bumper.
Remove bumper
Cut, shape and drill holes in angel brackets. I moved the hole for the lights, top of bracket, to the outside edges to keep the lights as far left and right as possible.
drill and tap 1/4" holes in the top of the bumper
secure the mounting brackets to the bumper
Test fit the RF3 lights, need to cut some of the foam / air guide at the back if you want to keep the lights recessed as much as possible.
fit the Volvo AUX kit without it's mounting bracket, and get wires where you want them.
Remove lights
Re fit front bumper without the front grill
Re fit your lights and Test and adjust your lights
Cut some of the grill away for your lights.
All done
