The factory air guide is only $72 at Lisle, anti appears they will only charge another $13 for shipping: http://volvopartslisle.com/part/OEM-Vol ... /Air-Guide

I've only seen posts from people installing the aftermarket guides, never bought one myself. My replacements have all come from the junkyard but yeah, they can be hard to find there too. But several people have put in the URO one, maybe you can get one to bite on this thread ...

I would get the clips #18. p/n 1202841, superceded by 30624275, looks like FCP has them for $2.29. They are cheap and you need them to hold the front up.

Don't forget the 2x #30, the bolts at the sides. It's a flange screw, pn 985743 that Volvo lists at $2.67 each.

I don't know about the louver #32. Mine doesn't have it, but I see where it goes and it might look nice. Might also stop rocks etc. from hitting the condenser.

I also do not have #28. Still trying to figure out where it goes to.

If you are looking at p/n 6808693 for the air dam, it looks like it ought to list at $94.54, and can be bought for $76.83 from the mail order dealer.

Good luck!

That Lisle dealer that you mentioned charges $45 to ship it. I ordered from them. The $13 listed shipping cost is only an estimate as they say on their website at checkout. They emailed me later asking to pay extra for a large shipping box. Other dealers do similar because their system does not really know how large or heavy the car parts are.

I ordered the clips as well. The screw/bolts, I have. They are the only thing left attached to the car after the rest broke off.

Thanks Roger_850T and Erikv11

There are just two 10mm bolts on each side,on the front...it's attached with 2 strange clips on the bumper.

Hate to ask the question, but did you try the local dealer for this part? Maybe the cost of shipping may have been offset by the price they charge.

I buy a lot of parts from the US as dealer prices are usually a lot lower than in rip-off Canada, but sometimes, I find the local dealer (I am a very regular customer of many years) I get a better price when factoring in shipping, unless it is a large order. This can really work with larger items as shipping and duties can become crippling to Canada.

I've had the Uro version of the air guide for 11 months after the original got ripped off while stuck in sand. It's taken a few different and scrapes and seems OK so far.

It means that 850 from '91-'95 was different than 850 from '95-'97(including '97)...it's called "oddball".
Take a closer look at the differences betwen alter 1 & alter 2 on the illustration.

Headlights,bumpers,tail lights,4 stud hubs instead of 5...etc.
