My car 93 960
Hello I just got word that I'm needing to put my car in the shop to have them do my gasket on it .it's a 93/960 and I just took the valve cover off and found there's no gasket at all.so when I call around no one wants to help me except hands me this silicone junk and I'm looking at my motor going OMG what am I gonna do now. Is that so or can I handle it with some help and guidance.cuz I'm not trying to break my pockets .if so I'm thinking there's gots to be someone in my area that could lend a little bit of knowledge towards this job .HELP there is no sun in California for me.

I'd prefer Permatex non-hardening sealer. After looking this up I've found that there is no gasket for the cam cover. This type sealer is available in a small bottle with a brush on the bottom of the cap.
