2002 V70 waterpump threads pulled out of block - help!

So working on water pump replacement last night and i pulled all of the threads out of 1 of the 7 holes that hold the water pump on - I'm sure I'm not first - what have you all done to fix? I'm gonna try with a cheap right angle drill attachment to tap out to a 8mm vs the 7mm stock i think. it is the lower right hole when look at the front of the motor - closest to the the crankshaft.
let me know if anyone has great ideas before i give it a try!

Consider jb weld in the hole, then tap new thread.
Very low torque on those bolts, I recall it was something like 12ft lb.
I used a small 1/4 inch ratchet.

I would also try running a tap into the hole before doing anything, it's not likely the whole depth is stripped.
I cross threaded one in mine and the tap straightened the threads out again, no leaks.

That, along with a slightly longer bolt if necessary. But if you go with a longer bolt make darn sure you can easily screw it into a depth that it will tighten down on the water pump without bottoming out in the threaded hole.
