I test drove my '07 the morning after a cold snap which killed the battery.
They threw in a new Volvo battery and I felt good about that.
Now I suppose I know why.
Does anyone know if Volvo batteries are "smart"? That is to say, is there circuitry built into the thing?
2007 XC70: think I need a new battery. How do you test/where do you buy replacements?

No, they're just ordinary lead acid batteries of decent quality.Georgeandkira wrote: 07 Jan 2018, 08:58 I test drove my '07 the morning after a cold snap which killed the battery.

I think people have said that, but if jimmy runs them I would go with the guy who actually fixes them by the 100s...
