Have DICE but program CD to install VIDA is damaged. Anyone with the CD willing to loan it to me would be appreciated

What kind of damage? If it won't read, put a dab of toothpaste on the shiny side and a drop of water. Polish the DVD with your fingers, wash off toothpaste, dry with a paper towel. Then try reading the DVD. Most of the time when a CD or DVD won't read, the problem is scratches in the top layer. Polishing the top layer improves the optics so the data is in the lower layer can be read.
Sometimes for a DVD that has sat for years, just washing with soap and water will get it working again. Grime is messing with the optics. It is like trying to read through dirty glasses.
Also try cleaning your DVD drive. Dust on the lens can cause a no read, more dirty glasses.
