I'd be interested in knowing the eBay seller's rating, if you can go back for that...
Also, please let us know if you get a response from Swedish Car Parts. I know it's not their fault, but I'm curious what they would say.

Their response after a week was:wrote:How come your heat exchanger with ref 9144221 costs €100+ in your web shop when it is sold on Ebay for only ca. €29?
Is the one being sold on Ebay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-Heater-C ... 58ee71275e manufactured by your company or is it a replica?
Thanks,
Teddy
That's from SCP in Holland/The Netherlands.wrote:Swedish Car Parts
Hi,
Dear Customer, that is not our product.
The price difference is due to quality and warranty.

Several of us have bought these eBay cores in the past few months and been satisfied.Teddy1975 wrote: ↑12 Jan 2018, 15:29
I'm still tempted to buy the heater core from Ebay, based on the reviews from this forum, but can't help but thinking the product they boght years ago may not be the same that's being sold today, what if the plastics that is used has changed or the aluminum. Ok, it seems like a fairly straight forwarded thing to replacing the core, but I lean towards buying from a more reputable source instead, one that does offer a warranty.
The ones on ebay could possibly be some that were turned down by SCP QA department and sold off cheaply to this guy who then sells them as legit SCP heater cores/exchangers, without telling anything about them not being up to par with the genuine ones.
