Chassis settings service required

Post by JaysonS60R »

I recently got my s60R back from a overhaul. I had the engines switched out due to the old one having a blown head gasket, bad oil crank seal and it was misfiring. Started and drove car a couple times after engine put in at shop. Drove it home. Had to jump start it because lights were left on. After jump starring it the lights flashed like the 4way hazard lights were on, but they were not and the chassis settings service required light came on in the messege reading on dash. After ten minutes of running the lights stopped blinking but as soon as I opened a door or anything changing the power they would blink again... any one have this issue or ideas what it could be? Thanks

When the battery went low the alarm system was armed. The alarm system need conformation your suppose to be in the car. From outside the car lock and unlock the car doors with the key or remote. Then get in and start the car.

How old is your battery?
THOROUGHLY CHARGE and TEST it.
Sometimes they can bounce back after needing a jump. Sometimes they're too old to begin with.
A trip or two to the store might not be enough.
