my 960 is a no start

my 960 is a no start

as i was coming home from work my car lost all its power but i limped her the half block down to the house . even after that she woiuid start up on the first turn of the key . i changed the fuel filter replaced the fuel pump and now nothing . the pump is working i can hear it running , but i opened the shrader valve between the pump and the filter . and barly dribbled out . any ideas ??? thanks

Maybe the pump is wired backwards.

Check the Fuel pressure regulator ... on the '96 960 it should be below the fuel rail.

thanks i never thought of that since i wired it up just like the one i removed was black neg red positive . but its worth a double check .
