try using guitar or bass strings to clear the ports.
Life is like a box of chocol- make that an engine compartment. You never know where the tubes go or how to rout a belt 'less you read the diagram on the underside of the hood. Do it right the 2nd time. So when all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Also check the PTC nipple that goes into the intake just before the turbo. I had my PCV system fully replaced when I had my headgasket replaced and was still building some pressure under higher load and shooting oil out. Eventually it blew the cam seal as well and I had to have that replaced to the tune of $500.
I cleaned the PTC nipple with some carb cleaner and a cotton swab and now it pulls very slight vacuum under high load and never inflates the glove. I would imagine carb cleaner and pipe cleaners would help you clean those smaller passages. Robert tends to know what he is talking about.
Also make sure you aren't too full on oil. That can cause the same issue you are describing.
IPD makes a good (read shiny) oil cap, but for $80 you could get OEM twice over.

Oil caps seems less important at this point but oem caps are all over the place at picnpull, and later model caps, maybe even all P2 and some later caps, fit the 850's. Might cost 2 bucks. Can't imagine the need to spend 35 bucks at the stealer for this part. Use new oem seal though.

If in a rush I even got my seal from the hardware store, something for kitchen sink or so, works great 6 months later.

When I did the PCV system, all passages down there were clear and open. A thought occured while in there to use a brass 12ga shotgun brush & short rod to insert and make the aluminum shiny once again. Worked very well. Brass brushes come in all diameters and are cheap. Just be sure the threads actually fit your rods as not all mix 'n match.
These also work fine for cleaning the throttle body bore.
Before your next oil change, you might want to use a can of BG engine flush. Finally, I've found one of the many benefits of synthetic oil is no PCV system blockage....at least down here in the heat & humidity of Texas.

Sythetic oil is a must. It seems more or less all white blocks have the problem with oil vapors coming out the oil lid. Mine does to, even with a new pcv system and a new oil cap seal. I guess it is sort of a good thing, a relief of excess pressure.
I much rather have to clean off the top of engine once year than replace cam seal or rms once a year..
