740 control arm question

Post by Jobrated »

While doing the ball joints on my 740 wagon my pass control arm bit the dust.
I can order another control arm however they are all fitted to use the lollipop stablizer bars. My Volvo has the traditional ones. Would it be a problem to have the lollipop one on one side and my stock ones on the driver side? Thanks in advance.

Best to replace both sides with the steel type or find another source. Perhaps you can find one good used control arm. Replacing with the steel control arms will require matching stabilizer bar end links.

Thanks for the input. Just wish I didn’t have the oddball control arm. I’ll keep you posted.
