Tree sap

Any good tips to remove tree sap?? I got the most of it out but can see it in certain light still

90% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) takes it right off. Use soft paper towels. June

Paper or screwdriver on the paint is more or less the same

Soften it with whatever but then wash the car properly with a microfibre wash mitt instead of dry rubbing the paint.

I think the word "soft" was overlooked. The alcohol melts the sap and if you don't absorb it in something like a towel it will smear a film soap and water will not remove. I have used those soft blue paper shop towels and had no problem.

If you use your wives good towels out of the kitchen or bathroom, when the alcohol dries the sap will ruin the towel. Worse would be to try to wash the sap out in her washing machine and dryer. Therefore throw away paper towels are best. June

No, the alcohol just melts it away. Now here in Florida the climate is naturally warmer. June

Thanks for all the suggestions. I used this brand called tarminator to grt it off initially. Now theres just some little smear marks kinda left there.
