Any interest in a 2000 S60 T5 for parts?

Post by TrishP »

My son is buying a new car and the dealer said he would give him $200 for his 2000 S60 T5 5 speed.
Appreciate any opinions on if there would be any interest in selling privately for parts??
Or, is this the way to go?
Thanks!!

If it’s a runner it’s worth $1500

As a parts car , at least $500

Volvos in the Chicago LKQ/pick and pulls get stripped down pretty fast, often in just a couple days. In South Bend Indiana, not so much. But they also don't get as many of them in SB. The ones they do get can sit there virtually untouched for a month or more.
So parts value probably depends partly on where you are and whether there's demand for used parts locally.
