Why Volvo calls it Oak Arenea I have no clue rather than toupe. I like that Oak Arenea is two toned. I clicked other since Oak Arenea was not listed. June
I think arena is the textile pattern if you like me have the half textile half leather seats. Oak is slightly darker than beige which was another option.

Polarized sunglasses do remove almost all of the reflection. Not that it bothers me much without glasses either.

I am not sure about the textile pattern, but my car was sold with what Volvo called "Oak Arena leather sport interior" could the Arena mean as sport leather? June

According to this it would seem to be the actual colour that's called arena.

The 2000 V70 SE I just sold had an Arena/Oak/Light Taupe (depending on Volvo literature/Vida) interior. It had the lighter upper color and carpets and darker color in some areas of trim like the lower trim surround in the load bay.

Looking at that literature which is for the S60, my car has a two toned interior using both Oak, and Arena colors. My seats and lower dash / door panels are Arena. Whereas the upper dash and door panels/ Leather steering wheel/ seat belts/ carpet are Oak. So for S80 with the T6 package the sport leather shown on your link came (standard or optional unsure which) as a two toned interior called Oak Arenea Sport Leather on my car's sticker. June

The two tone colour is useful for telling which is way up if you roll the car, too.

That s80 is in wonderful shape June! I do like the two tone.

Speaking of two tone, I do like tan and black together. I can't afford maintenance on an R, but if I got a car with black interior, I wonder how it would look with the door panels swapped over from a gobi R model? Or would it look better with a beige base interior?

The more I think about it, the more I think I need to look for a graphite car. I just can't get over the luxe look of a black dashboard with the wood inlays!
scot850 wrote: 11 Jun 2018, 19:33 Practically, the darker colors are easier to keep and don't normally show their wear as badly as the lighter colors. We have the dark oak in our son's 06 XC70 and it is keeping well. Shame the seats are just not comfortable like the P80's!

Neil.
Neil-

I agree with you on the p80 seats. I love my s60, but unless I have the seat set PERFECTLY, I'm very uncomfortable. I found the perfect spot about a month and a half ago and then my fiance drove the car. I have tried for a week and still can't get comfortable again!! The seats also aren't very conducive to my driving style, which is to sit completely upright. P80 seats are comfortable no matter what for me.
