Do you mean, you want to reprogram a replacement CEM? I think Xemodex can help with this

That's your answer to everything
....can it be done with Vida? I fixed a burnt circuit on the board. It's running now so I may do a CEM reload or upgrade...xemodex wanted 650$ basically, when your done with shipping, so that wasn't in my friend's budget..

Xemodex CEM cloning for that model is $299.00. Cloning is one of them things where ... if you need to ask how, your not qualified to do it.

Cool @ Rick because you don't how to do something doesnt mean that... That's laughable... This platform (Vida) is new to me , I'm a third generation mechanic shop owner... Megasquirt , hp tuners , snap on scanners , and full on tuning isn't new to me.... Example: if your qualified for new job and get hired wouldn't you still have to be taught that position? Ok

I can't be done just with the Vida that many Volvo owners have. However, I've noticed Xemodex is not a cheap company in any way. To me, the quote for the software transfer is way way too much. Xemodex is not the only out there.
Try searching internet for a similar service, just googling 'volvo cem software service' will bring some results. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcHiGIQsURw
Here's just another shop (in UK) that does it for half the price http://volvodiagnostic.com/shop/index.p ... &id_lang=1
That sounds a little harsh

Harsh reality.
There is a reason you are telling him where to get it done rather then how to do it.
Exzile:
1. Reverse engineer the CEM PC board.
2. Read the Eprom.
3. Make a ROM image.
4. Write the ROM image to the new CEM.
There is no cookbook for the process.

Alas, my English is not the best and I, unfortunately, could not quite correctly read the rules of the forum, if I did not follow them, I ask the moderators not to treat me strictly, but simply delete my message. Thank you for understanding.
I'm not sure that the "light rays came together" only on one company (I mean Canadian specialists). There are much cheaper and faster options for solving problems with Volvo electronics. For example, you can try to use Total Auto Tech from CA. There is very strong experience for repair volvo electronics, can program and clone modules, diagnosis and check any systems... There is a own bench test equipment and own soft for test and programming any modules. You can ask me about it if interesting. ))
