I just finished up with replacing the camshaft seals and timing belt with tensioner, pulley, and water pump. I am getting a CEL and getting codes of P000A and P0075. From what I can tell, the codes are pointing to a camshaft position, slow response in bank 1 (intake). I checked the connection to the solenoid for the intake and it all looks good and connected. I used the camshaft locking tool so cams I think are in time. I spun the engine around to check out my timing marks again and cams look right on the mark but on the crank, I think I am maybe a tooth early (right before timing mark). My question is.... Could this be the cause for the P000A and P0075 codes?
I have not put the timing case covers on yet so I was wondering if I should take the timing belt off and move the crank forward and then put the timing belt back on?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have been working on this job way too long and want it finished.

What did you see that brought you to the conclusion the reset valve (AKA solenoid) connection is good?

The timing being off could cause P000A but not P0075.
The P0075 is a communication error (Missing signal). I would look into it first.
The P000A is a position error. If there is no communication with the reset valve, the cam would get out of requested position.
I think P000A is caused by P0075.

I checked the voltage on the wire going to the intake camshaft reset valve (aka cvvt solenoid) and positive side had 12 volts and low side had like 3-5 volts which from what I read is in specs. I pulled the solenoid and everything looks ok but did a continuity test on the solenoid and it tested closed (circuit between the two pins), is that correct or should that be open? I am thinking that the solenoid is bad but just strange that it was fine before the tb job. Any thoughts? Please let me know if I am checking it correctly.

You are not checking the connection at all. Voltage does not tell one the condition of a connector.
Look at the connections, they should be shiny and clean. If they are dark they need cleaning. If they are corroded, they need replaced.

The connections are good and clean and shiny. There has to be some kind of test that can be performed on the solenoid. Can you suggest any diagnostic procedures for it? From what I read, positive side of wire should be 12 volts and low side, when the pcm\ecm activates drops the low side to ground.

Keep in mind it is a electromechanical device. The electrical side could be good but the mechanical side could have defects.
Camshaft reset valve Electromagnetic valve 12 V (#1) 3-5 Ω (#1-#2).
Disconnect it and apply 12V across #1-#2 it should click clean and crisp.
You might try cleaning out the mechanical end with injector cleaner, the mechanics maybe sludged up.
Keep in mind it is a electromechanical device. The electrical side could be good but the mechanical side could have defects.
