OBD2 1310, 0302 codes.
96 850t. Does idle a little rough. I think under boosting probably, unrelated to code maybe. 0302 indicates miss fire cylinder 2, I believe. All Volvo oem tune stuff within last 15k miles or so. Places to look first? Just erased the codes, waiting to see what happens. No interventions on my part yet. Thanks!

https://www.obd-codes.com/p0302 has answered all questions, probably the most succinct explanation ever written. I might start by making sure the plug isn't loose in the hole, go from there.

Check for oil leaks from the oil filler cap seal that may have run into the Cyl #2 well or even a bad lead. I once had a problem where the ignition leads were accidentally crushed by spark pug cover plate when it had been re-fitted and tightened down at the cyl #5 end. So remove the cover and check there too. Do you have a spare lead? If you do try swapping #2 lead out.

P1310 has often been caused by getting the wires back in the wrong place. At least one manual has the order wrong, incidentally. Triple check those
The other favorite are vacuum leaks. You guess by looking at them. You eliminate by removing each one, plugging inspecting, and since you have them off and they >20 years old, replacing them all.
See VISUAL AUDIBLE TACTILE inspection thread..tactile is a good search word

We use big words on MVS so we can search them, like "crenulated"

Yes, thanks. I've replaced every vacuum line with silicone ones within the last year or so, checked intake to inter-cooler, etc. Doesn't mean a clamp hasn't loosened, though. One of my least favorite things to do is check all these connections, again and again! I'm hoping to find a loose spark plug and move on after a quick fix, here's hoping.
