My son called this afternoon, was at a gas station and it would not start, cranked
but no start. He was about 2 miles from our house so I went over told him to try
again and it started but the CEL was on. He followed me back to the house and
it had a single camshaft position sensor code P340 I think.
Suggestions?

A bad cam position sensor (CPS) will result in no spark, no start. But usually when they go they are done, not usually intermittent.
If that's the only code I would source a used CPS (junkyard) and swap it in. Then see if it dies again or not. Otherwise, wait for the problem to be permanent and then do more extensive troubleshooting.

Make sure you gets both mounts firmly on Pete
I’m pretty sure I killed my 4 year old Nissens with a loose ear mount, which meant the rad hose on passenger side took the heavy load of the radiator-intercooler-condenser biscuit, and thus separated the plastic side from the metal part.
I drilled out the factory bolts, bent a large fender washer, and put SS hardware in place for easy removal. These guys like to rust

It is in the high 80s here so I started at 5 PM and it took a few hours to get
the old one out. No frozen bolts.
Most of the youtube videos cover how to install a new radiator on turbo versions,
this is one of the few that is a non-turbo:
He drops the radiator out the bottom and many videos show it coming out the
top. I couldn't get it out the top, but it was easy to jack up the car a bit and
drop it out the bottom.
A few pointers:
The radiator forms a sandwich with the AC condenser, there are two 10 mm
bolts at the bottom and our car had only two at the top. Some videos show
4 at the top. I looked in with a flashlight and there were only two top bolts.
These are the hardest to get to but it is fairly easy with a 1/4" drive with a
universal. EDIT: These are easy to get to if you take the fan/shroud out, then
remove the mounting bolts support the radiator with a jack and wood, and push
the radiator toward the engine this gives a lot of room to even get a small
wrench in there. See the 850 Blog for details on this. Reverse it going back in.
I was hoping to leave the fan and shroud in the car but decided that I wanted
to see what was going on and try to take the radiator out the top. There are
just two 8mm bolts at the top and the bottom is held in with tabs that go into
slots in the radiator. The hardest part is disconnecting the wires and relays
that are in the way. I mostly followed the FCP video to see how to do it.
The radiator would not come out the top because the mounting brackets hit,
and out the bottom they hit the air pump, have to loosen the air pump mounts
to get it out the bottom.
The 850 blog also has a good step by step procedure, he also could not get it
out the top and found that it hit the air blower:

The Nissens drain plug turns out 1/2 turn, there is friction then another half turn,
but it is not draining, just keep going?
So much plastic these days and I don't want to break it.
