I have a 2005 S80 T6 that is throwing a P0345 bank 2 code. I've replaced both cam shaft position sensors and still get the code. The car runs great except for on idle, it has an engine surge on idle. I purchased the car with this error code thinking it would be an easy fix, unfortunately doesn't appear to be the case. It does appear the timing belt was replaced at some point in time as the timing belt cover is a little loose.
Is it possible it's a timing issue? (even though at higher RPM's it runs fine)
Any help is appreciated!

P0345 Camshaft position (CMP) sensor, exhaust. Signal missing. On the exhaust side, check the connector for tight fit, pitting, corrosion or tarnish, check the wiring for corrosion, tarnish, damage, opens and shorts.

On the sensor connector, pins 1 & 3 have 5 volts. Pin 2 (I assume is ground) is reading 1.0 k ohms.
aren't pins 1 & 3 supposed to have 12 volts?
Other thing, car will actually run without the sensor connected.

It would not hurt to check your timing. Setting the VVT has confused and confounded many - just a little off causes issues but your code does not point to this. Still worth a look to eliminate it as a source.
Did anything change when you changed your sensors? Does the car function exactly the same before and after?
Have you followed the wiring after the sensor as far back as possible inspecting for damage? The plastic loom cover breaks down and maybe you have a wear through issue. Check all wires for a short.
