We've been getting a lot of hits on our website from this forum, thanks! We also have this other set that has mm hex and stars (torx.) I originally designed it for bikes but lately many people have been buying them for cars http://chapmanmfg.com/products/1916-eur ... orycle-set

Here's a video of the set being used on a Toyota, our tools come in around 8:50

Thanks!

It's still on MVS home page. I didn't get to it with much time before the offer expired. Can we do another?
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Sorry for the late response, sure! Use the code Volvo5575 for 10% off the Master Set http://chapmanmfg.com/products/master-kit-5575 or the code Volvo1916 for 10% off of the 1916 mm hex & star/torx set http://chapmanmfg.com/products/1916-eur ... orycle-set

The #1916 was originally designed for Euro/Japanese motorcycles, but many people are buying it for Euro cars because it has mm hex, slotted, phillips and star/torx bits in a super compact roll that you can stash in a glove box.

Both codes are unlimited/person (if you order multiple items you can use the code for each item) and expire August 1st. If you want to purchase both the 5575 and 1916, please place two orders and we will ship them together and refund you the shipping cost. Our system will not allow 2 different coupon codes being used on the same order. Any questions please e-mail or call!

Thanks!!!

My first repair lasted 6 years. Instead of doing it again, I sent it to mattymoo (www.midwest-abs.com). Excellent decision!

I read through all the posts up until the last page and realised my brother is not the only one who's box can probably not be repaired...

Attached are 2 photo's of how his 2003 model S60 T5's ABS box looks inside... as you can see there is no soldering... how to fix this one?!

I cant believe that it is IMPOSSIBLE to fix...i mean, as my brother said, componenets rarely fail, its mostly the power supply of the components that fail, or develop dry joints because of heat/stress.

I also drive an 2001 S60, also started with the same ABS errors.

Any suggestions?

I love this car! 😉

I soldered 4 pcs this side and the 2 main connectors other side. Not sealed properly of the case (only used gorilla tape all around) at the moment, because just waiting the next few days whats going on..coming back the fault or not .

Hello, guys please give advice or solution. My problem is the error "brake failure stop safely - 98" and spaces instead of letters & numbers. Also, automatic transmission in position "D" and "4" sometimes do not engage gear, just increase speed engine, then finally engage the gear and skip it because of the load too much.
In position "3" all engages are fine.

Sorry for my english.

This is probably not an ABS failure causing the transmission to skip. Can you get the car to someone who can read the codes ? It could be a simple thing like a wheel sensor
