Typically yes, but mounting in the back was so much easier. Didn't even have to bolt anything on!

Speaking of washing, I need to do a light paint correction on this. We picked this up the other day for my brother. It's automatic right now, but it's also a 1.6 so that will all change soon. It's a clean chassis with only 142k miles, so that was the appeal to me!
Just ignore the red beast in the background... :D

And to top that off, I'm picking up a '99 Miata 5 speed manual tomorrow on trade for the 740. I hate to let it go, but it makes more sense right now. Plus it'll save a little driveway space... it's getting very crowded.

Getting started on the engine and transmission replacement in the 98 T5, figured I'd break my long spell of absence on the best Volvo forum and read a couple tutorials. Can't wait to have this thing back on the road.

Nice, you finally found a motor! Makes me want to finish my R... but I've kinda got a streak going for how long it can sit on jack stands.
...I may be a P80 guy but I'm a Turbobricker at heart.
