My 07 XC90 3.2 AWD 1 week ago started showing the below code. Back in February I brought my car in to get the AWD system fixed which they replaced quite a few things as seen from my previous post about (AOC Pump, Pressure Sensor, Coupler Filter, O-Ring). Any ideas to this issue?
DEM-P188914 - Oil pressure pump performance. General electric fault. Short circuit to ground or open circuit.

2007 XC90 3.2 AWD Issue DEM-P188914
I checked the fuse. All looked good. DEM is receiving 12v.
When I tested the pump it didn't sound consistent and reported 0.1 ohms.
When I brought it to the dealer to check, they said DEM is not working was the causing the pump to fail. They wanted $2250 just for that part not the pump. I don't think that is the problem since VIDA is reading all the data that DEM puts out.
Any help is appreciated.

Does the car work just fine otherwise ?
Basically the dealer replaced everything but the DEM module. These are prone to water ingress and failure - usually will throw a dash light an or will cause non start/stall issue. The module typically will show corrosion on the surface. I'm not saying it needs repaired/replaced but here's more information on this on the xemodex web site. Never disconnect this module without unplugging - and keeping it unplugged - the car battery

The car works fine otherwise no other error codes from VIDA.
I checked the xemodex flowchart before I had it looked at by a professional. I also did removed the DEM module checking what I could see for water damage which seemed clean and not corroded. VIDA is able to communicate with DEM as I was able to read DEM Parameters.
I'm pretty convinced the pump prematurely failed. I'm going to get another pump first to compare since I could return it. If that doesn't work i'm gonna send out the DEM module for repair.

Installed the new pump (Dorman 699-002), tested pump activation with VIDA, and error code gone so far.
The new pump also sound much quieter than the previous one the dealer put on. Before it used to make a high pitched whine and was able to hear inside the car.
