CVJ Axles in Denver?

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a remanufactured axle for my 1998 v70xc, and CVJ axle in Denver (I'm in boulder) said they could rebuild my axle for $119 in a few hours. Anyone use them before/ have any reviews? Axles Unlimited, which I've heard good things about here, also has the part, but would be $229 with shipping, though arguably more convenient since I wouldn't have to wait around for my axle to get rebuilt. Let me know what y'all think!

Ben, sounds like a good deal. OE, Volvo axles are machined true to spec. So if you can keep them, it's always worth it. My brother and I are on two Pep Boys brand, one Autozone, and one Napa axle right now and they've been fine. But some folks have complained of premature failures, but, knock on wood, we haven't had a failure as of today.

I'm about at the end of my wits trying to find good axles for my car (2000 XC). My original Volvo ones lasted about 130K. Since then I've gone through probably 4 on each side (Axles Unlimited, NAPA, EMPI, FEQ). I think the genuine ones are now reman, though they still charge like $400 apiece. My new ones (FEQ) I put in this May are already shaking a bit.

Does FCP warranty these for life or are they excluded in fine print? That would at least take the part sting out of the job.
