I think it's less likely that the alarm is 'confused', but you could try replacing the trunk latch mechanism which contains the alarm switch. As this is probably a long shot I would find a used one. Or you discovered the reason why the PO stopped driving it, pure coincidence. Intermittent no start, they didn't trust to go anywhere with it. Might be a problem in the electrical battery/ground distribution. You'll need somebody who is highly familiar with these cars as the +battery/ground connection circuits that might cause this sort of condition are many, complex, and hiding everywhere.
I'm betting Vida will not see/communicate with one or more modules. Another, more likely possibility is that the CEM is damaged from overheating. Disconnecting the battery for several hours might revive it temporarily. The canbus host error is consistent with this problem, but would also pop up if the CEM isn't getting power/ground.
lost power to cabin and no start. dead. Topic is solved

So today i stopped at the local pick a part and pulled a CEM from a 01 S60. it wasn't the same part number as my CEM but same type.
put relays back in, plugged it in, hooked up battery and everything came back to life. it wouldn't turn over but i'm assuming because it needs to be programmed. So where is a could place to sent it off for that? i see some on eBay that do it. Anyways thanks to all that got me pointed in the right direction. I probably would have gave up on it without the help.

As above. I was talking about getting your own Dice unit^^precopster wrote: ↑14 Oct 2018, 19:43
Yes for around $80 but look for good feedback and don't get the "Pro" version as the leads are mini USB to the Dice unit and easily broken.
There is a guy in California who can read/clone a good used CEM or a DIM which are uniquely coded to the car. His call-sign here on MVS is Yagger. He can also work remotely over the internet. All you need is the Dice unit plugged into a laptop and installed with the USB drivers.
Dealer won't do this unless you go with a new one and this means way too much expense plus towing fees.

Which version of Vida are you trying to install? BTW you don't need to install Vida to have Sergey read the car/fix the car. You only need Dice USB drivers installed. Though I might add if it were me I'd be curious to install it and take a look for myself

"one problem was trunk would not open so i tried the emergency trunk key lock. still didn't open so i cut the latch rod off and lock was bent so it couldn't open. bent it back out with screw driver and now cable will work. so after this i went to start it and everything is dead."
"forgot to mention that it is throwing a P1630 CAN Bus node global std code."
The trunk is unlocked by the external handle, the internal trunk emergency release, the external trunk keyed lock, and the CAN bus release operated by the remote key fob and the driver's door arm rest 'lock/unlock' button. It looks like the CAN bus operates a module that is connected to a small electric motor/solenoid that operates the trunk lock.
The CAN bus might terminate elsewhere in the trunk, and just send power to lock and unlock the latch.
I looked at images of the trunk latch and the latch connector is at the top of the latch. If the latch was bent back, the connector could be damaged. This could affect the CAN bus and/or the 12v power at the latch. There are pictures of the latch and connector at FCPEuro:

After forcing the trunk latch, you had electrical problems including battery draining, computer modules and a CAN bus code. I suggest you check to see if you somehow shorted out the latch connector near the trunk latch. If so, it could account for draining the battery, causing the code, and preventing CAN bus operation.
