So I'm an electrician by trade..my problem starts when I change my brake booster. I bleed everything nice nice reconnect all... and then incant get the brale lights to go off??? I disconnect the brake switch on the pedal nothing, still on. I check and make sure I didnt pinch anything but there is nothing around the booster or the pedal besides the switch that would interfere with that... the only thing that turns my brake lights off is if i pull the fuse..... so i got tired of tracing wires and ripping things out. So I rewired that fuse that kept the lights on to the brake switch.... now mind you if you wire it regularly the brakes would work backwards because it's a normally open brake switch.... so I call Volvo and ask where the. Relay for the brake switch is.... "no relay sir" the only thi g that can cause that is a short or a bad switch...... wtf???? They were no help and dont know their own cars....So I ended up rewiring the brake switch, fused it,and added a relay normally closed shall I add..... fixed it... then I'm happily driving down the road all happy ... my my left and right turn signals dont work..... so here I am again.. emergency flashers work... so did some research the hazard button is about 6 inches deep and Carrie's the relay inside of it and the turn signal stock is my problem...... or so they say.... I'm going to test that theory before buying a new one. But why did all this happen all of a sudden when I changed the booster. Everything was working perfectly fine...anyone have any ideas on what could have caused all these light problems? Or a huge coincidence that 7 diff volvos say their is no brake really and my turn signals aren't working???????

You sure you got the right switch? The brake switch is above the bracket, the one on the bottom is cruise control.
I had the same problem with my '97 960/S90. The brake switch moved out of position. Reached up to the top side of the bracket and pushed the brake switch back into position, all is well now.
I'll admit, I got carried away on finding a electrical defect before I checked for a mechanical defect, which it was.
You may of inadvertently pushed the brake switch out out of position when you changed the brake booster. The brake switch is held in place with tension only.
